A board game RPG about a park goose in search of some delicious bread.

POST-JAM PATCH NOTES:

  • Fixed elemental damage calculations. (Also added x2 and x0.5 indicators to cards to communicate what they will do in combat)
  • Fixed dice ranges - they now actually roll their full range of values. (Curse you, Random.Range)
  • Fixed incorrect space connections
  • Revamped EXP gain, level progression, HP gain, enemy damage scaling, and dice scaling with level
  • Added D10s to late levels
  • Fixed visual animation bugs with goose line art
  • Allow for zooming and camera panning during dice assignment state
  • Added UI Zoom buttons
  • Elemental attack animation, particles, sounds
  • Any excess damage dealt to enemies will be rewarded back as HP
  • New hand-drawn font used throughout
  • Added credits in-game

good game, but leveling up and healing systems do not work: at the start you're barely holding up, but every kill grants you a level up, which restores all hp. Once you reach the maximum level, you get a fixed amount of hp per every kill, which is not enough to refill all of the health. Since the environment suddenly changed, player doesn't know what tactic to choose and the game becomes too hard.

Could you, please, fix your progress curve?

Heya! Yeah, you're absolutely right. this was a 48hr game jam project where around 9 hours before the deadline we didn't...have combat, so it definitely didn't reach our target experience 😅

while the odds of us updating this are extremely low as everyone involved is hard at work on other projects, we really do appreciate the candid feedback
